Day Two Hundred Fifty Nine

I took these first pictures on day one, right after my first crossfit session, and after I threw up alot (read my first post) and the after pictures were taken today. I want to thank Cassidy for taking the pictures this morning in the freezing cold. (yes its May and it was snowing).

Almost all of the back bacon is gone....


Say bye bye to man boobs.


This body did 40 dumbell thrusters and 40 unassisted pullups in 4:45 today!

I am going to keep this up for the rest of my life. I am ready for the tough mudder in June!

Whole30 round two

So, the three or four followers of my blog know me pretty well, you know who you are. I have had a tough time with my weight my whole life. I started crossfit a few months ago, and set a goal to be at 215 by the time Michael turned 1. I have come pretty close, but with all that has happened with my business, things have been chaotic. I have fluctuated my weight a few pounds up and down, but never have I reached 215.

So here I go again. I am going to do another whole 30. For the details here is a link.

This program changed my life 6 months ago, and I need a jump start. After 5 months, some of the crappy stuff has found its way back into my diet. So here goes, for the month of may I commit to another whole 30.

I need to pre-apologize to my wife. She does not see the diet the way I do. I love you Amberly!

2 lbs to go!!

I have hit a plateau with my weight loss. But I had a breakthrough today. I am now at 217!

Alot of people ask me what crossfit is, so I decided to post this video from you tube. I think it really explains well what we do.

I also think that this video is super motivating.




Other than being sick the last week, I have never felt better in my whole life.

Home Stretch

Ok, so I know I havent posted in a while, but those of you that know me, know why. I am not going to discuss it here. Lets just say, I have had alot of time to work out. I am nearing my goal. I still fluctuate my weight a few pounds a day, but I am consistently at 218 in the mornings. I feel super confident for all of my workouts. I am now just continuing my goal of getting stronger and fitter.
Here is a recent picture of my Deadlift from friday. I set a personal record for single rep Deadlift----375# !!!

I made it through the holidays


I made it through Christmas and New Years with out gaining any weight. It was tough, especially with all of the yummy treats that Amberly makes. I stepped on the scale today and my weight was 223! I only have 8 to go. (well, I may reevaluate that weight loss goal when I reach it.)

today was a tough workout. It was called BARBARA.
5 rounds of:
20 pullups
30 pushups
40 situps
50 squats
3 minute rest.
It took me like 45 minutes!

(so you dont have to do the math, that is 100 pullups, 150 pushups, 200 situps, 250 squats!)
